Electricity transmission is one of the keys to harnessing the change to renewables by providing the conduit from the generation source (whether it be hydro, solar, or wind) to the end users. I like this move more than buying another pipeline. It not only provides some diversity of earnings but also seems to embrace the important role of power transmission in the future.
