Great to see the Mt Elephant brand going into one of the two major supermarkets!
The deals are now starting to add up:
Highly likely annual sales will be in excess of $4 million for the 12 months ending March 2022. Forecast sales of $2.31 million per year from March 2021 from Woolworths' stores and online; in addition to the 7-Eleven deal which commences on 22 March 2021 with forecast sales of $1-1.4 million per annum. There is also the agreement with Annex Foods which is worth $760k over two years commencing last year.
I don't know if those sales figures represent the sales value at the cash register or from APH to the retailers, given they lumped in the Woolworths sales figures with online sales.
Hopefully there is a deal with Coles in the pipeline as well. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes about in the other 2 streams of the APH strategy. (Pet & Animal Nutrition and Health & Beauty; sitting alongside Food & Human Nutrition)
Another benefit to these deals is that it should provide the growers confidence to plant additional crops throughout the year knowing the supply of additional hemp grain will likely be needed.
