Ladies & Gents, I hate to be a party pooper but for the sake of clarity, if you think that this is some kind of "tactical stand-off", you are all demonstrably misguided. API is a "poor man's suitor", who have tried brazenly (and totally unrealistically) to acquire Sigma at a time of SIG SP weakness brought about by the CW dilemma, only to be found that it is short of the "financial clout" to carry the deal through. IMHO, API cannot "sweeten" this, as they are already monstrously out of their financial league.
IMHO, API does not have the quality customer base in the Australian Pharmacy wholesaler market to underpin the capacity to take Sigma out....
Whether Washington Soul Pats is a major shareholder or not is totally irrelevant.
