rjac : I prefer to spread my assets, but everyone has to manage their asset allocation according to their risk tolerance and sleep at night factor ... I have my bucket load of IVR and a couple of other shares, .. a decent amount of physical gold/silver, debt free properties, super sitting in cash at present and a cash buffer in the bank. My plan is very conservative, but that is a consequence of my age and closeness to retirement age ....
