@Silv, I am a kiwi living back in NZ after 15 years in London. Price inflation is widespread and obvious to most people, although only a tiny percentage has any idea of the cause. The MSM is almost completely missing in action in terms of informing the masses about almost any aspect of the real financial/economic world. A totally socialist government is busy doing what these types are doing throughout the Western world, despite falling significantly in the polls and still trending downward,and the next election is still 16 months away. It's not a pretty picture. As for Kiwis talking about it in pubs, supermarkets etc, not so much,as the vast majority gets all the "news" they think they need from the mainstream outlets. Occasionally, very occasionally, I'll talk with someone about the merits of PM's as a traditional store of wealth, but most consider this the realm of freaks.
