Inflation,ie, destruction of the purchasing power of the currency, caused by artificial expansion of the money in circulation, is a (covert) way of stealing from the population. Because of it's covert nature,people do not understand the nature of the problem, but do get to experience it's effects. We, collectively, the whole western world, are now witnessing some of the effects of the results of the failure to understand that production, and nothing else, creates wealth. Central banks creating "money" from the click of a mouse does not increase the quality of life.
