On more heavily traded shares these types of transactions get lost in the traffic and the player can make their move without moving the price substantially. A bot is usually programmed to buy or sell a set amount of stock in small blocks at intervals that don't effect the prices, pulling out when they hit certain marks. In this case though very strange as the low traffic makes it all a bit obvious.
