One thing I was unsure of in the original announcement of the IP rights transfer, was the nature of the transfer - sale or licensing. I was worried that the IP had been sold outright. However, the June quarterly made clear that it is a licensing agreement:
This will presumably enable EpinovaTech (the "European wafer developer") to engage other foundries in respect of this IP, but for the moment at least they are continuing - indeed expanding - their relationship with BLG:
BLG are also doing R&D work for another company called Ganvix (from last Dec quarterly):
All in all, BLG has a well established track record in R&D collaborations which should stand us in good stead for further contracts through the CLAWS hub.
