This ground has previously had 100 holes through it. Yeah it was pre Natura 2000 but the red tape the Finnish gov they've created is insane. The money to spend on extra steps the drillers have to take to mitigate disturbance on snow packed ground it laughable. You would think the delays will allow the co to finalize all other area submissions but they may be subject to further environmental studies too. I would be happy to care less about this stuff if we were already on our way to drilling come Dec but this could be a 2 year process now as appeals can even come after the courts have made their judgments.
