The jump in debt was for the leapforce acquisition if im not correct, which happened at the very end of November 2017. There's not much information about the success of the acquisition as it was closeish to the end of the quarter. The next report will show if it was money well spent. Imo it was a fantastic move by Appen to acquire, in its own right a very successful business and at the same time spreading its wings further and reducing competition
