I think it would be wise to wait to see some hint of a turnaround in the numbers before buying, rather than gambling on a better 1H23. Yes you will miss out on the first 30% gain, but if this stock actually turns around you will make plenty of money anyway without needing to take the risk of a blowup if things deteriorate further (which in the short-term is probably the most likely outcome).
