Whatever may transpire tomorrow - the long game is that Appen is an A.I tools and data business.
Enterprise should show signs of picking up as 60% of fortune 500 use Databricks for their A.I but have no tools to configure and fine tune it. You can plug in Databricks into Appen's platform but this only just new and shouldn't expect too much too soon - and an example of the type of innovation that is possible in this industry - opening up different revenue stream opportunities.
The underlying business ex Big tech was always very good and growing now it has an opportunity to prove its generic growth potential.
