Personally, the attractive pricing of the SPP is a definite go for me.

I'm with CommSec, and so if I wanted the BEST brokerage deal in terms of % paid for my investment, I would need to put in $9,999 (brokerage = 0.1995%) or put in $24,999 (brokerage = 0.1198%). Where the latter is not an option for comparison with the SPP terms. If I compare a $1000 investment, the brokerage = 1.0% and that's not ideal for me.

So, yes I might be risking my capital too early, sitting with APX for the next 2 weeks, but overall I feel the deal I get in the long-term is better, especially since a very likely scale-back would not enable me to compare with the brokerage fees I would be charged.

But to each there own... I think APX is long-term easily double figure MC company within the next 5-10 years easy.
