Tech LI-ION recent article Pretty well Every battery to date in the world is LI-ION it has been for a long time....i will gaurentee that Elon musk and below article is right with they have probably been able to solve the charging issue and the compacity issue in old LI-ION tech.
one thing that LI-ION compared to LI-S tech is that they will never be able to charge LI-ION tech in 20 MIns to drive a car 2000Km (My tech side its impossible with LI-ION tech you may get marginally close using specialized electrolytes) (More expense) Not LI-S it is just about finding the one god particle to solve Li-S charge issue (BNNT could be it)
Long and short 20 minutes to drive 2000km or 40 minutes to drive the same with LI-ion tech(much larger costs only once BNNT costs are cheaper), Elon musk will decide the future for the short term and maybe BNNT will miss out with car tech until somebody like Jeff Bezo jumps on Elon Musk LI-ION every body else LI-S at moment
