We are talking about the anode of the battery for BNNT. That’s what BNNT is to be used for.
Currently graphite is used as the anode of Lithium-ion batteries.
I read an article ages ago that stated that it is technically/chemically possible that silicon can be used as anode material - it will take a few years to develop and produce but silicon comes from sand and sand is cheap and everywhere!
With that on the horizon, how do you see $1m/kg BNNT fitting into batteries in the future?
