It could be either but definitely not a negative!

I would love to know (if anyone has the answer), what is the exact process with regards to trial results becoming known to the company.

There's been a fair bit of conjecture as to whether BOT already knows the results are positive (or at least has an incling). I feel like this is unlikely for a few reasons:

    1. That's the point of a trading halt, to prevent results from being leaked once they are known. If BOT already knows the answer that would negate the purpose of a trading halt altogether.

    2. The trial was double blinded, which means no one during the trial knew if they were on 1801 or a placebo. MRSA isn't a visible thing like acne so the patients wouldn't know themselves if the drug has worked or not.

    3. I don't think Botanix are the ones actually conducting the trial (could be wrong). Usually they're done in partnerships with universities that have the correct equipment / facilities. So the results are being collated by a third party - Would they communicate results to BOT pre maturely? Seems like bad practice.

I think BOT only knows the results of the trial upon trading halt being announced. What are other's thoughts?
