If they are using Covid as an excuse at all in Tanzania that's all it is, an excuse. Average life expectancy is just over 63 and a median age of 18 let alone in a lot of African countries in sub Sahara where the life expectancy drops into the low 50's Coronas average death age in most of the world is 78+, sadly Africans in that age bracket are rare as hens teeth.
