Lets say you had a million shares. You buy 30k more at 7c for 428,000 more shares. You then sell 428000 shares for close to 7c, so money equal. BUT you also have 428000 options( assuming) , so you now have much more exposure to the stock without spending a cent. at 7.2c you made a bit as well. If you never had many the same applies, but with scale back its all approx 60% only.
anyway, thats how I see it. the options will initially trade around 4c in my view as well. So, short term free money, long term plenty and increased upside.
