    I should have been more specific.
    Correct - the consolidation doesn't water down the value because the mc doesn't change.
    Its the large capital raisings that occur after the consolidation that waters down value, which is a key reason why public companies consolidate - lower the number of shares on issue, increases the sp - improves the appearance of the investment.
