I could have left the money in the bank and paid it in 1 year but then I delay a potential CGT discount that could be huge. I had an average price of about 20c. If the Share price hit say $8-10 thats a $400k+ gain. If I dumped them I'd prefer to be paying $80k rather than $160k CGT. At these prices options aren't nearly as attractive as when they were a third of the heads.
