Options being exercised and shares being issued? Hmm. How do we interpret this?
I guess interpretation can go either way, exercise options at $0.42 and sell at current market price of roughly $1.25 CGT or
Exercise options, buy the share at $0.42 with the share price at $1.25 and keep the shares because you believe in the company.
Also does this type of issue (employee?) have favourable tax treatment if you exercise options when there is a reasonably small difference
between option strike price and related market price and you sell them or hold them?
