Thats presuming folks are converting to sell, lots of people prefer the security of having fully paid over options so they will convert when oppies are well in the money like now and keep holding them (shares).

The other obvious advantage as I pointed out especially if lots more get converted is it gives the company cash.

It is my understanding that a company pays every time they make an announcement (about $1700?). Thus converting $200 or $700 is actually a burden on the company.
