Sorry last post was wrong at 0.47589 ERX shares for 1 AOP share that is 3.85 cents per AOP share which is a return of 15.4% based on the current share prices of 8.1 cents and 25 cents.
The equity deal done with ERX over the Côte d'Ivoire ground was done at a deemed price of 4.5 cents per share so I wonder what this means for tax purposes if you sell your ERX shares for 8.1 cents? Do you pay tax on the gain from 3.85 cents (ie the price based on the AOP price at the record date, assuming it stays the same) or on the 4.5 cent deemed price? I pressume there is no tax liabilty on distribution? Anyone got answers to these questions?
