For me you hit the nail on the head with; "the fruitful land DEG has acquired". DEG Management, as well as many astute posters here, recognize we sitting on lots gold. My totally unqualified guess is 4 to 8 million ozs.
For me, I have my base position now and the current risk/reward proposition dictates I buy monthly until it re-rate. I'll take my chances with gold vs investing at the end of a cycle in some bubble noted above.
I've picked a sector I'm happy with for the next 5 years and plan on throwing money at it until I'm proven wrong.
