But those wishing to convert HZROs have to wait until the new year....?

As the price is lower...
These heads can now be used to sell down.. (at a profit) to below the exercise price of the HZROs..
But somebody wants 1.5 million HZROs..
For SFA....??
No doubt they'll be exercising them with the profits from these options....
And will sell the heads into the pump and dump in the New Year.
