Ps after reading comments here I think said company decided to use convert note in order to hedge their bets with BRN. They obviously decided SP was on the bottom and looking to lock in potential gains with a percentage of their convertible note, as they are now confident enough to risk that 30% with the potential upside, for whatever reason... they are well informed on the progress re manufacture of the Akida chip NSoC by Socionext, perhaps.
