So the currency is kinda a double edged sword here for Biotechs IMHO... they might have their vaccines, patch manufacturing, IP, science costs, fixed plant costs etc being generated home here in AUD's (which would all fall and benefit and be more competitive from a falling dollar) but they have many OS marketing, sales and support and promotion/conference costs going up when the local currency is more competitive. And the reverse if the local currency was to appreciate. Just all depends where you are at the crucial time in the value of your local currency with the marketing/sales costs vs income about to be generated from all that... Certainly can't be easy running a local Aussie Biotech that is for sure. Must be real easy to get trapped at precisely the wrong time in the currency cycle... NA and go Admedus.
