Can someone help me out here please. Why would someone exercise options so early unless significant news was expected? Would it make sense that you'd want to be holding ordinary fully priced shares if a deal was expected? I may be on the wrong track here. Correct me if I'm wrong please. I guess the opposite could apply, and you might exercise the options and sell quickly if you expect the price to drop.
