No they probably have 100's maybe 1000's of emails every day and phone calls and honestly unless someone was polite and asked sensible questions they may not answer them, I wouldn't answer them either. Not saying that you were not polite of asking the right questions but you have to understand how many emails they must get a day. I am pond scum in my organisation and I still get about 200 emails a day, I have to filter out what I have to respond to and don't and I have no doubt at a time like this with high anticipation they must have 1000's.
