As was mentioned previously, the options expired as they were 'out of the money'. If you can buy 'on market' for less than the option exercise price, why would you exercise the option ? there is no connection with the expiry of these options and progress at the company. If there does end up being an announcement in the near term, it will be unrelated to this.
