Archie you are exactly right. People should be cautious about any information posted by members on this forum (it says so in their Terms of Use). It would be so much easier if everyone just followed the guidelines when posting . Take this one for example;

1. Company representatives If you have a significant role (director, senior management, PR, etc.) in a company and you are posting in a discussion that is related to your company then you must disclose this. you don't have to disclose who you are, or your exact role, but we do require you to disclose that you have a role and broadly explain the kind of role. We would ask you to become an authenticated company representative, (especially if you are claiming to be authorised to speak on behalf of the company) to prevent any misunderstandings.

Anyway thanks for keeping an eye out and alerting HC admin to the inappropriate use by some on these threads.
