The keyword in your note is “sounded good”. In my opinion, any stock purchase or sale needs to be backed by research and due diligence and not comments on HotCopper or ramping on Twitter.
In my mind, AGY is a solid company that will have some hiccups for sure, but should do well given the proven proprietary process and expertise. It is only a matter of time and I fully support the company to negotiate the best possible outcome without worrying about short term capital issues. One can see in the offer where the money is being spent anyway.
