The shortfall from section A of the application form then become available shares for section B (Apply for share under the shortfall Offer)
Then there is a mathematical ratio calculation to for fill the shortfall and could be subject to audit.
But it gets complicated as it could be a ratio of original entitlement or a ratio of extras applied for.
