I don't think the Veit elections can be a valad reason for further delays. I say this because of the robust and positive statements (such as "imminent commencement of external engineering works") by tincom management 15th November, less than 8 weeks ago. They knew the elections were coming up then.

The cynic in me thinks this was a gee-up just prior to the AGM but these comments were not made by ECT, they were Tincoms management (althouh a favour may have been given).
I do take note of the last paragraph on this announcement, which (I believe) hints at recent challenges and complications and perhaps suggests there will be some more ahead....


"Reflective of the large initial capital investment required for this project, the significance of bringing
a first-of-kind technology to market and the nuances of international collaboration, the project
continues to evolve to meet the challenges and requirements around successful commercialisation."

In short, the benefit of the doubt should be given at least for now.
