i think your are right. January is the national congress. From my research this morning the elections during may and july are just window dressing. The democratic party is actually boycotting them after the debacle 5 years ago when they won by a landslide but the army intervened to manage a status quo.

So the only question mark is.. who will lead the "communist" party? I think Lautrec has given us his "best guess" from based on his research and his contacts.
