I'm a bit confused as to why Benson was offered a job. My understanding is he's mostly a production geologist. Are they actually going to pull their fingers out and move toward production or was that just a 'thanks very much for being the patsy and getting the deal through for us' type arrangement?

Hopefully he's there to get things moving but so far there is very little evidence of anything actually happening other than nice shiny high-level powerpoint presos outlining the basics of the company.
