Actually aka hooter has a great sense of humour. He can even see fun in funerals.
As a neighbour of CDU in which I hold shares, I try to keep up with what is happening to QMN in which CDU at one time was the largest shareholder.
The cash in hand position would worry me as would servicing a loan with no income stream. However QMN may be able to offload some of their holdings to service the debt or issue more shares but at the current price dilution would be large.
The presentation by the MD on Monday should be a pointer to where they are heading.
QMN has good assets but having too much of a spread may have been a contributing factor in the position they currently find themselves in.
