No reason to assume AEB won't have positive announcements, as La Jolla doesn't necessarily mean the kiss of death to a project. It's a funding mechanism and Roger Straus has plenty of experience with that. Note that there are very few shares on issue, so you could expect 3bs to be issued to raise capital. Entirely normal and enables others to get on board.
LJ was used quite successfully by another company to get out of a real mess, and shareholders were unfairly targetting LJ when the problem was with the company. I see no parallels here.
