The only thing that would jusitify these new options is if they are being offered in lieu of a full salary .

This keeps $$ in the kitty for drilling where it belongs, and gives some short term incentives for performance.
And remember that 7mill options at 75c will put another $5million towards future drilling and will effectively pushes back another cap raise by several months if they are exercised in the next 6-8months (highly likely)
At first glance this might look like a bit of a sting to long term share holders, but actually , it is well calculated move.
Nothing to get bent out of shape over.
