Thanks for informing me that Sinosteel had their own shipping line. I was aware that Oceanwide had one.
You may be right that the shares are for a payment relating for a prior period when the $2 figure would have been pertinent but that would have been awhile ago now and payment for services is usually on a 30 day basis. One wonders whether a transport company would wait that long for payment and then take shares in lieu.
As for the loan, the CuDeco Board signed off on it. They would not have done so without carefully scrutinising it in line with their fiduciary duties and were satisfied with it.
