It may very well be an anxious wait for us, but the below extract from another ASX listed company clearly displays the delays we would expect to see for a similar application on our own soil:
"An application for a Mining Lease and a Mining Proposal to allow for mining operations over the Tuckanarra Gold Project was lodged on 17th January 2014. These applications are currently progressing through the
Department of Mines and Energy (DME) with the company assisting as required."
