Perhaps the gents are a little out of touch, maybe a new age WKT needs to look at less conventional/traditional however possibly more prospective avenues of sourcing partners or new subby. Like google searching "venture capital".... Might even be worth them contacting some folk from here

At least gets talking. I would be contacting 5 VC's per day, wherever they are in the world, there would certainly be a good chance of sparking some interest when we go throwing around stuff like, "oh its nothing, just this super jumbo flake graphite project we got going.." -vc "whoa whoa whoa, what did you say? SUPER???"
