LOL, I think that is the second time in 3 days I *think* you have suggested I am shorting UNS.
I cant change what you think, but I do ask that if you bother to read what I have posted and choose to reply....then read what I say and don't skim with dismissive eyes thinking that I am short or playing an agenda. At the end of the day you will think what you think.
But if you cant get why I care less about them diluting my holding and see it as secondary to clarity and integrity of what the company reports...then perhaps I have a longer term view of the company than you. I don't care about news that gives sugar hits suspiciously timed around them needing cash.
The slide presentation showing expansion, filling trials with COOK was golden and able to be released any time the preceding the Imperium deal or ATM announcement.
I don't like months of silence when they have previously placed an expectation around events, only for everything to go quiet ..... and news released purely to get a rise in SP so they can utilise the funding available to them. It appears desperate!
If they had kept holders updated using their site, youtube, Facebook...hell its pretty damn easy these days....doesnt need to be releases then people don't jump at shadows and voltality creep into the SP
Inform holders..........then release news around Imperium (the timing of that was purely up to them) and speak to needing cash to pursue an opportunity with this platform. OR for operating cash due to some understood delays in customer programs...voila. I suspect, I don't know, but suspect we would be doing better then saying cash is fine for as far as we can see and then back flipping. Where is the integrity of what they communicate?
I know how my parents feel with me only ever speaking to them when I need money. That's how UNS seems to behaving and its poor. WHY? Well frankly only a RAMPER would dismiss the fact that money that was due in before Dec '14 to comply with earnings covenants of Orbimed is still absent 9 months later!! One of our earliest customers Biodel goes public and blames their supplier for delays in their program. UNS raises bucket of cash early in the year and says funding is fine....news vacuum then ATM... these are not company ending events but are being managed hopelessly and that is the reason why we are where are. Not because they need to use the ATM facility, but the absence of communication.
Its the time to improve communication, especially in light of having to arrange alternative means of short term funding as some things haven't clicked into place. Not behave in a manner that suggests cats got your tongue and you only speak up when it serves a very short term, short sighted interest of a small raising of cash.
Anyway...yeh I am short because I see the basis of a good company beginning to sprout and some odd/poor/hard to understand trends are emerging which sees us back at a lowly SP that is a result of poor cash management and external pressures that they should better understand by now.
SP is important not to me as a holder for now, but for their ability to sit at the table and negotiate deals. It's important so that if they want to raise cash to exploit a market opportunity or shore up cash due to a lull in programs customers can be comfortable that they can raise the cash to services their contracts without massive dilution and impacting the stability of the company.
...the more I write, the more I want to write and the more frustrated I am becoming so ... lol...so, then end
