Apparently they dont think it is necessary, that it would be seen as an attempt to pump the SP and that shareholders are generally happy with progress

For those who disagree, I suggest spend 2-4 mins to send an email to management demanding an update

It might not be much, but it is common courtesy and shows respect for your shareholders

Something as simple as

"NXM is pleased to advise that drilling of its Pinnacle deposit was completed on x date. 6 holes for a total of 2,000m were drilled, with cores having been cut and set for results.

It is expected that with Xmas closures the results will be available for release to market in early January"

If management can't spend 2 mins to write something so simple to keep us updated then they should be out the door

I agree Von, have a similiar problem with another stock as well.

Most of them seem to be from the old school and know how to do the exploration but no idea how to communicate with the market.

Unfortunately if you don't have both on this day and age you will loose out. People expect to be updated. You just can't run a company like it's yours because it isn't and shareholders will vote with their money and try everything to get you to move on and do it to someone else's company!
