The very fact that the new management has taken on the task of trying to turn BDR around, is skin in the game. They have invested personal time. Time, as I'm sure you are aware has an opportunity cost which in the case of top flight management represents a substantial sum of money.
It's not going to be a cake walk for these guys, they've taken on a company in a precarious position, and perhaps without perfect knowledge.
I'm happy with the options arrangements. If they get the SP to 50 cents or a $1, they'll make money and everyone else will also. Yes, loads of people are still underwater, that sucks big time for those people (I'm in that group), that's just the nature of the stock market. It's a brutal place.
It's not possible to have a quality management team and expect them to not be adequately compensated.
