Thanks for the comment, i would love to see OTOC sold and some cash generated, as well as a reduction in
HQ size n expenses, also a relocation to the eastern states where business is generated.
the reason for the formation of VRS was the failure or unsustainably of the OTC model past the mining bust
, particularly in WA. as far as i understand OTC has no professional edge nor a specialty in the mining/construction field to set it aside from all the rest. on the other hand the model of VRS , investing in
quantity surveying companies, in such diverse professional field with the economy of scale, exchanging knowledge, know-how within the group, the ability, and flexibility of transferring professionals from one comp to the other where work is required, plus synergies of an organized one HQ.
Financially it makes sense to purchase quality QS comp, with diverse specialization on an EBITDA of x 4 on the private market and after amalgamation, your public comp is then re-rated on the ASX
to an EBITDA X 7, theoretically, a no brainer practically requires good management,
finally, you have mentioned that apparently there is some interest in buying the OTC portion, here in QLD no rumor circulate. all investors will appreciate more download on that if possible and reliable. for me, it will be exciting, so at last, we can concentrate seriously on one objective. i do believe in the concept.
