    In response;

    2) Agree that this could be the case, but spending $200,000 to avoid some hard questions seems a bit much...especially as AVQ have demonstrated time and time again that they are more then willing to stay silent.

    3) Maybe, but I haven't heard of any good news (well 1 rumor of good news but nothing so far has been announced)

    4) Maybe, maybe, but if this was the case, I'm guessing buying on-market would have been better for that....perhaps he will follow up with an on-market purchase?

    I still want to know if he had to buy the shares, or if his hand was forced by some contract. I've no knowledge in this area.

    Still (and yes everyone, i KNOW he is paid a crap ton of money, but) he did end up putting $200,000 into AVQ which is better then nothing.

    Certainly has some skin in the game (adding to his existing holdings) and I'm looking for some more on-market purchases to back this up as well.....although he could easily say "I've already thrown in $200k"

    At the very least, gives him an incentive to get that share price up!
