Not necessarily. The options could be cashed in ready for an announcement to be made. This way they can sell at a moment's notice to make a profit.
Also on that note, who cares if they profit from a 3 cents start or 5 cents. A profit is a profit, it does not matter what price you pay 6 cents or 10 cents to buy your shares. If you believe the company is going to succeed and the value of those shares will be greater than what you purchased them for, then that's great. You might not make as much of a profit but you still make a profit.
So if you still believe in the fundamentals for weebit and are attracted to the fact that it is a billion dollar industry and you are looking at holding your shares medium to long term then I believe at these low prices your getting a damn good deal.
I have faith in weebit and management and I am excited to see what the share price will be in the future
