ONE possible outcome, is that if the DEAL goes through and its Worth a REAL lot, suddenly everyone will be lining up to
BUY not sell as it seems to be now. The question is It is supposed to come Sep hmm, but if it does and the ASX susp stays on, there will be added pressure to clear the susp and let them trade.
However whether we trade or not, dosent really effect the day to day wealth creation through direct rev not CR's. So the company Cap could theoretically grow in leaps and bounds in real terms and who knows, they could find themselves in court? when the company is doing really well balance sheet!!
One point though, if it is a amalgamation with another company, so the ASX per rules have to release as the whole structure of the company will be different and they may not stay as REL so do the Susp continue to apply to the new megga company?- just some ideas to consider IMO.....
Bottom line, will it still be REL in a couple of months time? do we get 1 share for 10 of REL if taken over, and When is the SH meeting if discussions on something so significant yet no one knows?
We may of course just be buying up a biggie, but when do we get the money for that full buy up if so big or give away most of the registry? surely SH's should be required to vote ect.... but nothing for months and months? Perhaps we will vote WHEN they announce?
To give a comparison for the BOD- they didnt think xstrata so big a deal and that just was normal news.. but this DEAL they keep saying is really big? so how can it not be REALLY REALLY big and we are all going to be shaken? or is something else going on..
