Capacity of any shallow draft barges we get from Vietnam are likely to each have a capacity of 1,500 metric tonnes IMO. All other details I'm not sure but at the EGM they said areas of the river where the low-draft barge could not travel they would dredge the river bed in those sections and dump the mud elsewhere.
